Become an Energym Comets Team Member

 

Currently, the Energym Comets is a non-try out program — offering every member the opportunity to be an achiever and a champion.

Although elite skill is not necessary to participate, Comets members should be prepared to train accordingly. Team members are expected to posses a high level of motivation and personal accountability. Our teams have no "bench," meaning every participant is equally important to the success of the team and will be treated accordingly.

Our primary goal is to give kids an outlet to learn, grow and express their individual talents in a safe and respectful environment by allowing athletes to not only develop and improve their cheer skills, but also learn commitment, teamwork, and confidence. Regardless if you are looking for a place to start or an accomplished competitor, the Energym Comets is the place for you.

Monthly Tuition: $75

Season Six Details
Cheerleaders are placed on teams based upon their ability and age. Evaluations for team placement will take place the first of August.

August 1, 2010 through March 30, 2011

Senior Team:Ages 18 and Younger
Junior Team:Ages 14 and Younger
Youth Team:Ages 11 and Younger
Tiny Team:Ages 5 and 6

Monthly Tuition: $90

Monthly cost includes cheerleading practice time and one hour per week of tumbling.

Yearly Team Fee (Per Family): $50

Families with more than one Comets member receive a “siblings” discount.

Uniform: $160
(Gently worn uniforms are available at a reduced price.)
Warm-up: $60
Shoes: $50
Fake Hair Curls: $25
Team Duffle Bag: $30
Competition Fees: $450

Time Commitment

Practice: 2 ½ hours per week
Tumbling: 1 hour per week
Total: 3 ½ hours per week

Fundraising Opportunities Available
Opportunities to raise money for tuition and additional team costs are available through the Energym Comets Booster Club, which consists of all Energym Comets parents. In the past, some members have even raised enough to cover all costs.
